By day, I’m a broadcast and streaming engineer. In my free time, I’m a photographer based in Switzerland. At my core, I’m a documentarian of the moments we cannot afford to lose.
My path into photography began from a very personal place. After realizing that many of my own childhood memories had begun to fade, I picked up a camera to serve as a sort of external hard drive – my way to freeze time and ensure that the feelings of a moment wouldn’t disappear. What started as a way to preserve my own history eventually evolved into a professional passion for capturing the high-stakes world of live action.
The launch of the Helvetic Guards, a Swiss American football team, brought my journey full circle. Having played American football in my youth, it perfectly reunited my history on the field with my passion for the lens. On the sidelines, I look for the grit that the broadcast might miss – the tension in the huddle, the split-second of focus before the snap, and the raw emotion that happens between the plays.
When I’m not in a control room or behind a camera, I’m enjoying time with my family.
If your team, club, or event needs a photographer who understands the game and delivers on deadline, I’d love to hear from you – get in touch via the contact form or give me a call.
