the Lens

By day, I’m a broadcast and streaming engineer. My favorite place, though, is on the sidelines with a camera in hand. I’m based in Switzerland, and you’ll usually find me spending my weekends photographing American football.

I never intended to become a professional photographer. I bought my first camera on a whim after realizing I was starting to forget parts of my own childhood. Looking through old family photos brought back memories I’d completely lost, and I wanted to create that same kind of visual record for myself. What started as a hobby gradually turned into the work I do today.

Working with the Helvetic Guards felt like a natural fit from day one. I played American football for years, so I already knew the rhythm of the game. My background in broadcast is what really shapes the way I photograph it. I know what the TV cameras are covering, so I’m usually looking somewhere else. I’m watching the conversations on the sideline, the player taking a breath before the snap, or the quiet moment a coach has after the final whistle.

Those are the moments I keep coming back for.

When I’m off the clock, I’m spending time with my family.
